The Head and Neck Center at ENTFPSS combines the experience and knowledge of the region’s top doctors with the convenience of onsite biopsies and immediate preliminary results. Patients at our center have the luxury of on-site pathologists and cytopathologists from Doctors Pathology Services, a team headed by Dr. Ray Sukumar, a highly skilled pathologist formerly with the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. This means that patients can have on site ultrasound guided biopsies by true experts in the field. Preliminary results usually can be given to the patient almost immediately, avoiding the delay, travel, and worry that typically happens at other facilities.
In addition, facial and neck skin lesions can be evaluated, treated, and site repaired usually all in the same visit—no need to travel from office to office. Many of our patients are treated with MOHS procedures. Dr. Goldberg and his pathology team can simply remove legions, obtain the proper results, and repair the site, all in the same setting.
Dr. Goldberg’s office is close in proximity to the Jefferson Abington Asplundh Cancer Center, we are able to work closely with Oncology and Radiation Oncology specialists to manage patient care and provide the best treatment possible. Surgeries are performed at Jefferson Abington Hospital.
Dr. Goldberg is board certified in head and neck surgery and robotic surgery with 20 years of experience.
